Chlorfenapyr is a member of the class of pyrroles that is  used for crop protection against several insects and mite pests. Chlorfenapyr is insecticide and acaricide with mainly stomach and some contact action. It exhibits good translaminar but limited systemic activity in plants. It controls of many species of insects and mites, including those resistant to carbamate, organophosphate and pyrethroid insecticides and also chitin-synthesis inhibitors, in cotton, vegetables, citrus, top fruit, vines and soya beans. Chlorfenapyr works by disrupting the production of adenosine triphosphate, in the insect nervous system. Chlorfenapyr provides excellent stomach and contact activity for broad-spectrum specific insects to protect the yield and quality of crops & exhibits quick knockdown effect with long residual activity.
