Non-systemic Nematicide  With  Contact Action

Atomic is a avermectin nematicide. Atomic is registered for the safe and effective control of root-knot nematodes in a range of fruiting vegetable crops including tomatoes, capsicums, chillies, eggplant, and cucurbit crops. It is a product with non-mathematical contact action, fast and lasting action.The substance Abamectin acts as a GABA agonist (Gamma Amino Buric Acid) which stimulates the release of GABA from presynaptic inhibitory membranes at the nerve endings and which potentiates the binding of GABA to specific receptors in arthropod muscle cells. There are two ways to use this nematicide: 1- In this method, 4 ml of Atomic is used in a seedling pit or plant foot by spraying for 10 plants.  For example, mix 200 ml of Atomic with water in a 20 liter sprayer and use 40 cc for each plant. 2- 120 cc of Atomic is used in drip irrigation system for every 100 meters of length. For this purpose, first mix and dilute the nematicide with twice as much water and then inject it into the drip irrigation system. Note that the injection is given when a quarter of the irrigation time has elapsed and the poison is injected in the second quarter of irrigation. The second half of irrigation is used to wash and penetrate the nematicide into the soil.
