Thiodicarb is a carbamate insecticide that acts by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase activity. As a seed treatment, rapidly translocated systemically through the plant. It uses to control all stages of major Lepidoptera and Coleopteran pests and some Hemiptera, on cotton, soybeans, maize, vines, fruit, vegetables and many other crops. Also used for control of slugs in cereals and oilseed rape.
