Bispyribac sodium is a new generation broad spectrum post emergent herbicide. It is a selective, systemic & post-emergent herbicide. Bispyribac sodium belongs to the class of pyrimidinyl carboxy herbicides. It effectively controls most of weed species infesting rice crop, both in nurseries and main field. After application, it gets absorbed by foliage and roots. Bispyribac sodium has the inhibition of aceto-lactase synthase (ALS) mode of action.
