Clopyralid is a Pyridine carboxylic acid group member and a selective, post-emergence broadleaf herbicide that enters treated vegetation through the leaves and roots and replaces natural auxins at binding sites, causing abnormal growth and disrupting the growth processes of the plant. Clopyralid is water soluble and does not bind strongly to soils and Foliar application of it may provide more complete control than soil application, it is not degraded by sunlight or hydrolysis .Do not apply clopyralid later than the 8 leaf stage of canola or the 1 st node stage of winter cereals Potatoes are extremely sensitive to clopyralid
