Penoxolam is a selective herbicide from the Triazolopyrimidine group, which is absorbed through leaves, stems, and roots, and is systemic in the plant in the form of symplasts and apoplasts. Penoxsulam has excellent foliar application efficacy against grasses, sedges and broad leaved weeds of Rice crop. Penoxolam is recommended as post-emergence and at the stage of 5 to 7 leaves of rice. It is very safe for paddy crop.
